Southampton Occupational Safety Association is in its 48th year and is an independent forum of local safety professionals for discussion, information and advice on all aspects of Health& Safety in a friendly way. The Association is affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and the British Safety Council. It forms part of a network of similar independent, but linked, groups throughout the UK.
We have close but informal link with the local office of the
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and a liaison inspector has been appointed to advise the Association.
